12 incredible days sharing the magic of sake with the world
CRAFT SAKE WEEK 2025 at ROPPONGI HILLS has officially come to a close — and what an unforgettable run it was! This year’s event drew a record-breaking crowd and wrapped up on a true high note.
Over 12 days, 120 carefully selected sake breweries from all over Japan took turns presenting their best creations. The finest modern sake craftsmanship gathered in the heart of Roppongi, attracting around 250,000 visitors this year alone. Now in its seventh year at this venue, CSW has officially welcomed more than 1.25 million guests in total.
For the first time ever, weekday hours were extended by an hour, keeping the event open until 10 PM. A selection of popular restaurants also joined the lineup, making the evenings especially lively. Even after sunset, the venue buzzed with energy — not just on weekends, but especially on weekday nights, which saw more after-work visitors and international guests than ever before.
This year also brought a natural rise in multilingual interactions, with English information readily available and cross-cultural conversations happening throughout the venue. It was yet another clear reminder that sake brings people together, no matter where they come from.
