Friday, April 21 “AWA SAKE DAY”
“AWA SAKE” is a naturally effervescent sake made by secondary fermentation. Sake breweries that have set strict standards for ingredients, gas pressure, alcohol content and other factors, and continue to evolve with the aim of becoming the world’s toast to sake, are all here on the first day of CRAFT SAKE WEEK!

Day 4 of CSW features a gathering of the most skilled breweries from two of Japan’s premier sake-producing regions. Enjoy the exquisite sake of the Tohoku (northern Japan) and Hokuriku (north-western Japan) areas, which are characterised by a gentle flavour and refined aroma nurtured by the cold climate and pristine mountain water.
